You have properly used Windows Update to security patch your Windows for years now, but what about all the other programs you have installed, that is not from Microsoft. How do you know if they need to be updated? Many computer viruses has changed tactic. They do not attack Windows anymore because most people use the Windows Update Service, but how about Java, Flash or Acrobat Reader? How often do you check for updated on these products?

How to create multiple users in Active Directory

Active DirectoryIf you need to create a lot of users in active directory, and you don’t want to do it all manually. Microsoft has a nice little tool called CSVDE.EXE that can help you with that. With this command-line tool you can import users from a CSV file. It makes the task a lot simpler if you need to create a bounce of users. Below you can see a little video that shows how it’s done.

csvde.exe has been around in the Windows server platform since Windows server 2000.

Another great tool from Windows Sysinternals.

With this little tool you can Zoom and draw on your desktop very easily.

Press C-TRL+1 and you can zoom in and draw on your desktop. No installation needed just a single .exe file, that’s it. Great tool if you are making a demo in a confrence room and someone in the back can’t see because it is too small. You can also draw on the screen if you need to highlight something.
