Today, 28th of November, it is 4 years ago I launched this blog. I can believe how time flies by. It seems like it was just yesterday. I started this blog because I thought it would be fun to have my own blog on the Internet, where I could share all kind of tech tips I come across.
I have always been interested in technology, of all kinds, and been good to figure out how things work when I get it in my hands. Back in the old days, I also enjoyed to create html websites and write small java scripts. With a CMS system like WordPress, it don’t make much sense to write code like that anymore. However, the skills I learned are still very handy when I work with this blog to adjust things under the hood of this blog. Besides writing posts about technology, software, reviews and stuff like that, I also learned a lot about SEO and WordPress optimization. That was not something I planed when I started blogging, but it is not much fun to have a blog if nobody visits it and drop a comment once in a while. Another great thing I noticed when I started this blog, is that there is a lot of other bloggers out there willing to help with tips about blogging. I have learned some great people out there who had helped me to make this blog better 🙂

Happy 4th blogoversay my friend. Is that even a word? LOL!!! Not too many people make it this long. I celebrated 5 years back in June so I’ve got a little more time on you although I’ve actually been blogging for 6 years.
I started with the free platforms because I was doing article marketing for my affiliate products. They eventually convinced me that I needed to turn my static website into a blog so that’s why mine was born.
I wasn’t that excited about it in the beginning but as you know it wasn’t until early 2011 that things started to click and I finally found where I belonged. Glad I stuck it out too.
Way to go Thomas and I wish you the best in the coming year.
