Best Android apps for World Cup 2014

The World Cup 2014 in Brazil is not far away, so I thought it would be appropriate with a list of some of the best apps for your Android smartphone to make you able to follow the event. For those of us that are living in Europe the time the matches are played may not be easy to fit in to our normal day job. That is why it is nice with a good app where we can follow the event. Unfortunately, Denmark is not qualified, but I am still going to follow this event closely. Here is my list of the best apps I have found on Google Play.

Below you can see a couple of screenshot of the Jalcasco app that I found the most interesting Android App for the World Cup. It seems to have everything that an app like this need for us to be updated on the event wherever we are. You can customize it by adding tabs like: Teams, all matches or the group of your favorite country.

Thanks for sharing this article, Onefootball Brasil is my favorite app it’s well-designed interface, stats, tweets, videos, and the handy “History” section for all the World Cup trivia. It works really well as a news aggregator, getting stories from different sources like the Guardian, and SkySports, as well as tweets and YouTube videos for goals and match highlights. It’s match section is highly detailed too, including the line-up, push notifications, a live ticker for commentary..

    1. Thanks for the tip. I will have to check that one out too.
