What is a Gravatar

A gravatar is a profile picture or at least a graphical representation also called an avatar, that follow you around, when you are leaving blog comments on others blog. If you don’t have a gravatar you will see one of these gray no name figures next to your blog comments. When I leave a comment on a blog somewhere, I always get my own little picture next to the comment. That makes it easier and more interesting for others to read my comments.

What is new in the WordPress 3.5.2 Release

It is mainly a security release and you should not wait too long to upgrade your blog. In fact the WordPress team “strongly encourage you to update your sites immediately”. The update includes 7 security fixes that you don’t want to miss.

How to Fix Sharebar Plugin issue after upgrading to WordPress 3.5

 

I had an issue with the Sharebar plugin today after I upgraded this blog to WordPress version 3.5. As always when making major WordPress upgrade on my blog I had made a backup of my files and database. This issue was not that big that my blog became inaccessible, but it was still annoying. I went for the Sharebar page at WordPress.org to look for an update to the plugin, but no luck 🙁 I decided to disable the plugin and started to look for others with the same problem. It was actually not that hard and I even found a couple of solutions/workaround to make it work without any errors on my blog.
